Like houses, there are many good Realtors-only one is a perfect fit! That said, let me tell you about who I am and what I can contribute to your real estate needs.
I am a native Californian, raised on a working ranch and dairy passed down from my grandparents on the Northern California Coast, much like what Brentwood once was. My husband is in law enforcement and has served Alameda County for over 30 years. We have raised four boys (successfully I might add). And of course, we have a pet! Her name is Lexie and she is a 7 year old Cairn Terrier with quite a personality.
I am a local Brentwood resident and have lived in the bay area for over 30 years. My previous career was in accounting and in the "people business", as a self-employed recruiter and as a Director of Human Resources at the corporate level in the telecommunications industry. I am now applying my knowledge, people skills, attention to detail and listening ability to the real estate market in Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Bethel Island, Oakley, Antioch, Mountain House as well as other East Bay Cities.
In preparation for this career change, I assisted a local Realtor for 6 years while continuing my education and working knowledge of real estate. I acquired my real estate license in March of 2007 and joined Coldwell Banker Amaral & Associates in their Brentwood office as a full time Realtor. CB Amaral & Assoc also has offices in Discovery Bay and in Oakley. I selected the Coldwell Banker brand based upon the additional services it can provide to my clients, their reputation and market presense which allows me to further assist my clients with all aspects of real estate.
In addition I am a House Values Specialist (as seen on TV) for Brentwood and surrounding cities. I also work for several servicing companies, banks and mortgage companies completing price opinions. I am very aware of market conditions such as the current market with the short sales and foreclosures that we are all struggling with at this time.
I am a member of The National Association of Realtors, The California Association of Realtors and The Delta Association of Realtors. As an added value I am a member of MetroList, Quattro,Berries and EBRDI MLS services covering many counties. I am continually educating myself to better assist my clients with current market knowledge, the latest in marketing/internet technologies and effective negotiation skills.
